Stainless steel needle valve

Stainless Steel Needle Valve

The stainless steel needle valve is an important part of the instrument measurement pipeline system. Its main function is to open or cut off the pipeline. It has the advantages of easy installation and disassembly, tight connection, fire prevention, explosion prevention, high-pressure resistance, and good sealing performance. It is an advanced connection method valve in power stations, oil refineries, chemical plants and instrument measurement pipelines. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipeline. The stainless steel needle valve has good sealing performance and a long service life. Even if the sealing surface is damaged, only the vulnerable parts need to be replaced before it can continue to be used. During installation, the flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the direction of the arrow on the valve body.

1. For piping systems and devices for low-temperature media, low-temperature needle valves with valve covers should be used.
2. For piping systems of catalytic cracking devices in oil refining devices, lifting rod needle valves can be used.
3. For devices and piping systems for corrosive media such as acids and alkalis in chemical systems, all-stainless steel needle valves made of austenitic stainless steel and with polytetrafluoroethylene as valve seat seals should be used.
4. For piping systems or devices for high-temperature media in metallurgical systems, power systems, petrochemical devices, and urban heating systems, metal-to-metal sealed needle valves can be used.
5. When flow regulation is required, worm-gear-driven, pneumatic or electric regulating needle valves with V-shaped openings can be used.
6. For main pipelines for the transportation of oil and natural gas, pipelines that need to be cleaned, and pipelines that need to be buried underground, full-bore, fully welded needle valves should be used; for those buried above ground, full-bore welded or flanged ball valves should be selected.
7. For pipelines and storage equipment for refined oil, flange-connected needle valves should be used.
8. For city gas and natural gas pipelines, flange-connected and internally threaded needle valves are used.
9. For oxygen pipeline systems in metallurgical systems, strictly degreased and flange-connected needle valves are recommended.
