The AL22NBS Series pneumatic-operated air control valve shares the same body structure as a conventional solenoid valve, but instead of electrical actuation, it is driven by a compact pneumatic actuator (thin-type cylinder) mounted on top, requiring no electricity and only a simple connection to a compressed air line. The valve body is available in two material options—Brass and Stainless Steel—and, like standard solenoid valves, it is suitable for controlling media such as air, water, steam, and oil. It features direct action and rapid response for stable and reliable performance. A significant advantage is its lower viscosity requirement compared to conventional solenoid valves, making it effective even for controlling some viscous liquids.

This type of air cylinder valve can replace SMC VND200D-F15A-L, EVND104D-F8A-L, from 1/8″ to 1″.
